Effectivement, même si elle ne dispose pas d’un énorme
moteur atmosphérique ou compressé comme Mercedes
nous les propose aujourd’hui sur ses modèles sportifs, le
petit 4 cylindres est au sommet de sa forme, car coiffé d’une
culasse étudiée par Cosworth. Les chiffres parlent d'eux-
mêmes : 204 chevaux à 6750 tours/minute, 240 Nm de
5000 à 5500 tours/minute, le 0 à 100 km/h avalé en 7.6 se-
condes ainsi qu’une une vitesse maximale de 232 Km/h.
Elle dispose en outre d'une suspension pilotée, et les élé-
ments aérodynamiques aident au Cx et Scx (0.32 et 0.61).
Notre exemplaire, d’une très belle teinte "Barolo red", af-
fiche un kilométrage d’origine de 115000 km. Elle est resté
entre les mains du même propriétaire depuis plus de 20 ans.

In 1988, the war is raging between BMW and Mercedes. To counter
the already fabulous M3, Mercedes offers an "inflated" version of
its 190, the 2.5 16 valves. Under its falsely friendly air, knowing eyes
will take note of the extended wings, bumpers and bottom of the chas-
sis " Ostentatious", signs of a fast car, or even incredibly fast car!!!
Indeed, even if it does not have a huge atmospheric or compressed en-
gine like Mercedes has today on its sporty models , the small 4 cylinder
is at the top of its form, because of wearing a cylinder head studied
by Cosworth. The figures speak for themselves: 204 hp to 6,750 re-
volutions/minute, 240 nm from 5,000 to 5,500 r/m, 0 to 100m in
7.6 seconds and a maximum speed of 232 km/h.
It has in addition a controlled suspension, and its aerodynamic ele-
ments help the CX and SCX (0.32 and 0.61).
Our example, a very beautiful hue, displays a mileage of origin of
115,000 km and has remained in the hands of the same owner for
over 20 years.
