In the long list of models produced by Chevrolet ( General Motors group ), the
Bel Air is undeniably part of those who have marked the history of the brand
and even history in general… the visitors of Havana can still drive in the
many examples still in service.
Produced from 1950 to 1975, the Vintages 55/56/57 are the most mythical.
The Chevy 57 cabriolet was made into 47562 copies and weighs 1542 kg.
The engine fitted in our model is the 283ci ( Factory mounted option) of 284
HP, compression ratio of 9.5 to 1, the only version still more powerful and
presenting the same mounting of carburettors was available only in a manual
gearbox.
The proposed vehicle has been totally and highly restored making this example
very desirable.
